Frost Call is excited to have DM extraordinaire Lou Lim hosting a monthly D&D game night at Tavern of Tales. Lou is a DM at Danger Wizard and an expressive arts therapist at Looking Glass Counseling. He brings his empathy and storytelling skills each month for the Frost Call community.

We have a private room courtesy of Tavern of Tales, so just bring yourself or a friend and head over at the end of the work day D&D with friends and fellow veterans. You can keep the conversation going between events over in our Discord at www.frostcall.org/discord. Please note: while we welcome civilian allies, we prioritize tickets for military service members and veterans, given the limited capacity.

Tavern of Tales usually has nearby street parking and they are two blocks from the Orange Line. They have a full bar and cafe for dinner options as well.

July - October Session Info:

In the coastal town of Deniz, nestled between the roaring ocean and the sprawling beach, eerie whispers and unsettling occurrences have begun to unsettle the once peaceful community. Rumors of restless spirits and sightings of ghostly figures haunt the villagers, while fishermen return with tales of strange lights beneath the waves. As your party arrives in Deniz, you are drawn by tales of strange happenings and the seeking of a new adventure. You will find the town in a state of quiet distress, with locals hesitant to speak openly about the supernatural events unfolding. Whether you face the haunted lighthouse, cursed shipwreck or the mysterious siren song, this mini-campaign will run over 3-4 weeks and is flexible to whether you come to one or all sessions! Choices made by the party in a given session will impact the town, its inhabitants, and the foes ahead!

Session Type: Narrative Light, Mechanical Light with support to be more Driven

Skill Levels: New, Beginner focused with Intermediate, Advanced players welcomed

Themes: Storytelling, Exploration, Problem-Solving, Combat

This event is open to all skill levels, including new players. Most games fit within D&D 5e, but additional notes and coordination with Lou can be found on our Discord. Each event is a "one-shot" (single game) format with level 3 characters. You can bring your own but Lou will have premade characters and all other materials needed.
